Bringing the East African community together around disability & inclusion

Join Maangaar Voices for Maangaar Summit 2026, an afternoon dedicated to learning, connection, and meaningful conversations about disability within East African families and communities. The Summit brings together families, caregivers, self-advocates, faith and community leaders, providers, and professionals to share knowledge, lived experiences, resources, and practical strategies for creating more inclusive communities.

Through community-centered discussions and presentations, we will explore disability, family life, faith, caregiving, mental health, behavior support, and the systems our families navigate every day. Whether you are personally impacted by disability, work alongside families, or simply want to learn how to be a stronger ally, you belong in this conversation.
